Day 1 | Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt. Your 6 Day Egypt Tour begins in Cairo, a city shaped by thousands of years of history and still vibrant today.
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be welcomed by our local representative, who will assist you with arrival procedures and luggage. From there, enjoy a comfortable private transfer to your hotel in Cairo.
After check-in, the rest of the day is at your leisure to relax at your own pace. Use this time to recover from your journey, enjoy the hotel, or simply take in your first impressions of Egypt before the adventure begins.

Day 2 | Giza Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist guide and visit the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids. Learn how the Great Pyramid of Khufu was precisely aligned with the four directions and designed as a symbolic link between earth and sky.
Nearby, meet the Great Sphinx, carved from natural rock and facing the rising sun as a sign of royal power and protection. Learn why its location and direction were carefully chosen to face the rising sun.
Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where ancient history is presented in a modern setting. The layout of the museum allows you to follow Egypt’s story step by step, from early civilization to the age of powerful kings.
After the visit, return to your hotel in Cairo, carrying a deeper understanding of how Egypt’s past was shaped by both human skill and belief.

Day 3 | Alexandria’s Landmark
After breakfast, travel north from Cairo to Alexandria, Egypt’s Mediterranean city shaped by history and the sea.
Begin your visit at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an underground burial site where Egyptian, Greek, and Roman styles come together in a unique way. As you walk through its chambers, discover how Egyptian beliefs blended with Greek and Roman traditions in a manner unique to this site in Egypt.
Continue to Pompey’s Pillar, one of the tallest ancient columns ever built in Egypt. Standing beside it gives a real sense of the scale and importance Alexandria once held in the ancient world.
Next, visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Enjoy views of the Mediterranean before heading to the modern Library of Alexandria, a cultural center inspired by the famous ancient library.
End the day at the Montazah Palace gardens, where royal architecture, sea views, and open green spaces offer a calm and refreshing finish to your visit.
In the evening, return to Cairo.

Day 4 | Old Cairo, Islamic Cairo & Khan El Khalili
After breakfast, meet your guide and begin exploring Cairo’s historic heart, where diverse cultures and religions have shaped the city over the centuries.
Your day starts in Old Cairo, a quiet area filled with powerful stories from Egypt’s past. Visit the Hanging Church, built above ancient Roman walls, before continuing to Abu Serga Church, believed to have sheltered the Holy Family during their time in Egypt. Just nearby, explore the Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the city’s most important Jewish landmarks and a symbol of Cairo’s long religious diversity.
From here, travel to the Citadel of Salah El-Din, rising in the skyline of Cairo. Inside the Citadel, visit the grand Mohamed Ali Mosque, with its wide courtyard and sweeping views over the city. Continue to the nearby Sultan Hassan Mosque, a masterpiece of medieval Islamic architecture known for its massive scale and beautiful stonework.
End the day in the lively streets of Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where narrow alleys are filled with the scent of spices, glowing lanterns, handmade crafts, and local life. Take time to wander, observe, and enjoy the atmosphere of Cairo as it has been for centuries.
After the tour, return to your hotel.

Day 5 | El Fayoum: Lakes, Desert & Waterfalls
After breakfast, the adventure begins early as you leave the busy streets of Cairo and travel southwest in a private 4x4 toward the open landscapes of El Fayoum. Just a few hours from the city, the scenery changes completely, revealing a world shaped by wind, water, and time.
Your first stop is Wadi Hitan, also known as the Valley of the Whales. This protected UNESCO site is one of the only places in the world where ancient whale skeletons can be seen lying in the desert, exactly where they were discovered, offering a rare and fascinating look into Earth’s natural history.
Next, visit Qarun Lake, one of the oldest natural lakes in the world. Enjoy the wide views, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings as your guide explains the lake’s long history and its importance to the Fayoum region.
Continue to Karanis Temple, an ancient Greco-Roman settlement that once stood at the edge of the oasis. Walk among the ruins and learn how people lived here thousands of years ago, supported by the land and water of Fayoum.
Later, visit Wadi El Rayan, a protected natural area famous for its desert scenery and waterfalls. Take time to relax, walk around the area, and enjoy the contrast between sand dunes, lakes, and flowing water.
After the visit, return to Cairo in the late afternoon or evening.

Day 6 | Departure
After breakfast at your hotel, check out and prepare for your departure from Egypt.
At the scheduled time, enjoy a private transfer to Cairo International Airport, where you will be assisted with departure procedures before boarding your international flight.
Your 6 Day Egypt Tour concludes here, leaving you with memorable experiences of Egypt’s history, landscapes, and welcoming culture.
